Health Buddy Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Health Buddy Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information when you use the Health Buddy mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Chat Conversations

Health Buddy uses secure AI technology to generate chat responses. When you interact with the App, your messages are processed in real time by a trusted U.S.-based AI system. These conversations are never stored or accessed by Health Buddy Inc., and are never used for advertising, profiling, or tracking.

2. Chat History & Storage


Paid users can view a read-only archive of their chats, stored only on their device (never in the cloud). We cannot see, collect, or retrieve this information. Paid users can delete their archived chats, in partial or in full, at any time. If the App is deleted, all conversation history will be permanently removed. Free users do not have access to chat history, and no conversations are stored.

3. Profile Information


Users create a basic profile during onboarding, including details such as first name, age, and gender. This data is securely stored using encrypted cloud infrastructure and is used only to personalize AI responses. It is never shared with third parties.

4. Account Access


Users sign up and log in using their phone number, verified via SMS. Health Buddy does not use your phone number for marketing or any communication outside the App.

5. Data Security

We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data. Your profile information is securely stored using industry-standard encryption, both in transit and at rest. Chat history remains on your device and under your control, and you can delete your conversations or your account at any time. We may also use anonymized analytics tools to understand general usage patterns and improve the App; these tools do not collect personal conversations or health data.

6. Changes to This Policy


We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you in the App. Continued use after any updates means you accept the revised policy. We encourage users to review this policy from time to time.
